Walnut is one of the lightest hardwoods we see. Its chocolate tone beauty can seem understated at first glance, but it's one of the most chatoyant (that holographic effect well finished wood grain can have as the light plays over it) wood species. The grain has a subtle depth and shimmer that becomes pronounced in the light.
